Botswana’s Tuli Wilderness
The Tuli Block is one of Botswana’s most visually striking safari regions, defined by rugged sandstone formations, riverine woodland, and wide open skies. It supports strong populations of lions, leopards and the brown hyena. Large elephant herds, and an impressive diversity of birdlife, making it an outstanding destination for wildlife photography.
This week long photo safari is based in a private reserve surrounded by the Limpopo and Motloutse rivers. It’s led by Alan Hewitt, a professional wildlife photographer who provides practical, field based tuition throughout the trip.

Instruction is tailored to your experience level, whether you are refining technique or building confidence in the field.
The camp is reserved exclusively for our group, ensuring a genuine wilderness atmosphere with no competing vehicles. This level of privacy allows time, space, and freedom to work photographic opportunities properly.
On selected dates, this safari can be combined with Penda Photo Tours’ South African photography safari in the Timbavati private reserves, offering a complementary Big Five experience across two distinct ecosystems.
