Leopards of Luangwa – Zambia

South Luangwa National Park is one of Africa’s strongest locations for leopard sightings and photography. High leopard numbers, minimal vehicle pressure, and varied riverine habitat create calm, natural encounters that are increasingly hard to find elsewhere.

During the late dry season in September and October, wildlife concentrates along the Luangwa River, bringing predators into regular view. Msandile Lodge sits within established leopard territories, guided by expert local trackers who understand individual animals and their movements.

Lions, wild dogs, buffalo, and hippos add to the drama, while open terrain and warm dry-season light provides excellent photographic conditions. This safari is designed for photographers seeking authentic predator behaviour, not crowded and rushed sightings.
